X Japan - Rose of Pain Acoustic (1994.12.31) Live

Why are you scared?
What have you seen?
In the castle with the silent roses
I ask again and again

Why are you sad?
What pain are you feeling?
Oh, I ask the rose with its petals of blood
But the rose of blood can't answer me till the end

Scream without raising your voice
hold your breath and gaze

deep in the black eyes a smile filled with mystery comes across your face
gaze upon the cries flowing with the pain

wear a necklace of pearls on your white skin
flirting with the screaming blood, you begin to dance.

a heart that's lost love, burning with the joy of massacre
She will kill to make herself more beautiful
even if the sacrifice changes to a jewel.

gaze at the tragedy in its entirety holding your breath.

Slice them! Slice them! Till they're running in blood
the woman trying to run away
Tear up! Tear up till their red blood runs dry
and hang their naked bodies.

Kill each other with hate, in the passing of time
I search for the light of the body washed in blood.
The heart held in desire loses its ground, splitting the entirety of love,
without showing them a sign of tears
rose of pain gaze at everything in terror
Rose of Pain

The castle became a violent sea fo blood
The blood covers the flower, dyeing it deep red

Stop! Stop dyeing me red
I can't take anymore
You are too cruel!
Stop! Please stop!

Slice them! Slice them! Till they're running in blood
the woman trying to run away
Tear up! Tear up till their red blood runs dry
and hang the naked body.

scornfully laugh at a love wounded by our desire for one another
seek the moisture of a dry body
kill them all bloody heart, lose sight of everything
in the cruelty of living, don't show them a sign of tears

Rose of pain, I don't want to see
Rose of pain, you pain me
Rose of pain

In eternal madness we live,
Even if it was just a dream,
now pain, nothing but pain,

Rose of Pain
